I'm Subramanyam Chigurupati, a passionate filmmaker whose journey in cinema began in 2016 through short films that sparked my deep love for storytelling. In 2018, I had the opportunity to work with renowned director Nag Ashwin as an associate director on the Netflix original Pitta Kathalu, which gave me valuable insight into high-quality film production and narrative depth. Since then, I've taken the leap into independent filmmaking, writing, directing, and producing feature films like Salam Sainika (2025) and Nelluri Nerajana (2023), where I also contributed as a screenwriter and lyricist.

Beyond creating films, I'm equally committed to building a space for creative collaboration through my banner, Amaravathi Films Pvt Ltd. I'm focused on encouraging passionate artists, writers, technicians, and performers to join us—whether to enhance their skills, contribute their talent, or grow together as part of a shared creative journey. My vision is to make Amaravathi Films a platform where stories thrive, and new voices in cinema are empowered to shine.
